Frankly, getting away from the legendary crowd of Ölüdeniz and the suffocating humidity of the summer heat, and finding such a peaceful spot sheltering under the shade of pine trees just 3 kilometers away really surprised me. To tell the truth, the moment I stepped into Kidrak Motel, the scent of fresh resin hitting my nose and the greenery wrapping around the surroundings made me feel like I had arrived not at a popular tourist destination, but at a relative's cozy summer house that I hadn't visited in a long time. In my opinion, the most striking aspect of this place is that while being a stone's throw away from Ölüdeniz, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it offers the luxury of completely isolating yourself from that chaos in the evenings; the bird sounds you hear at breakfast and the humble yet warm attitude of the management create a feeling of 'being at home' which, based on my experiences, you can rarely find in luxury holiday villages, and I think the real meaning of a holiday is hidden in this serenity.
